Bunker178 and The Art House Pop-up Pantry are run by The Art House Southampton Community Interest Company, a not for profit established in 2009. Having run our own premises for 15 years in Above Bar street (and before that in Bedford Place) in the heart of Southampton, in March 2024 we made the decision to transform into a pop-up, using likeminded spaces to run performance events and a community pantry.
Community run, we provide pop-up events which are out of the ordinary, safer places, places where art and top quality live music, theatre and spoken word can flourish and be shared with everyone.
We provide safer, more accepting, comfortable events where anyone who wants something a just a little different from the mainstream can feel right at home.
Most of our crew are volunteers, who give their time to make the project run smoothly.
